The Country Cups Challenge form line will become clearer next week as two of the leading hopes in Deadly Choices and Bollente have been nominated in what is anticipated to be a mouth-watering clash over 1300 metres in Townsville on Tuesday 10th November.

Deadly Choices who is the current Country Cup Champion of 2019 has won four of six starts this preparation including the $65,000.00 Townsville Cleveland Bay in August over 1300 metres. Since the win in August, Trainer Damien Finter has placed the 7-year-old to perfection with 3 wins out of his last 3 starts at Mt Isa.

Bollente who was jointly awarded the Country Premiership Horse Of The Year with Tango Rain, has taken all before him this year with nine wins in his past 13 starts.

Ray Hermann stated, “Bollente is on the way up and it would be interesting to see how he measures up to the western champ next Tuesday. They have to have a lead up and it is an ideal race for all before heading to Brisbane”.

Whatever the result on Tuesday, we all know the final of the Country Cup Challenge on December 5 promises to be a blockbuster.
